He developed a love for English at a young age and has been fascinated by the language and teaching his students how to grasp the ins and outs.
Simon graduated with BSc Psychology at the University of Exeter and has since had plenty of experience working as a professional English tutor in the UK as well as Hong Kong.
He currently works full as an English Teaching Assistant in a local primary school and therefore often has plenty of interactions with students from different backgrounds and different abilities.
Approach to Tutoring:
Simon has a strong belief that children learn best when they’re having fun. It is important to provide a safe environment where students are invited to speak their mind and blossom and grow, as well as having the confidence to use English more often in their daily lives. With his meticulous organisational skills, Simon is known for diligently setting aside my time prior to lessons to adjust the materials so that they are suited to various abilities.
Hobbies & Interests:
Simon is an active person who loves to do sports in my free time such as football, badminton, hiking, cycling. On his quiet days, he also enjoys playing the piano, listening to music and composing songs. Occasionally, Simon also likes travelling to different countries and explore the different types of cultures, traditions and foods the world has to offer.
